Dear Andrea Csilla,

Consistency is the backbone of productivity. It’s not about doing everything perfectly—it’s about showing up regularly and making thoughtful adjustments where needed.

Last Sunday, I went for an uphill walk because it’s more effective than walking on flat ground. I covered 4.2 km uphill. On the way back, I took the bus instead of walking downhill. Why? Because walking downhill isn’t as effective for exercise, and I wanted to save time for other priorities. This small adjustment allowed me to stay efficient while still enjoying my routine.

Why It Works:
1️⃣ Maximizes Efficiency: Thoughtful adjustments (like skipping ineffective parts of a routine) help you focus on what delivers the most value.
2️⃣ Prevents Burnout: Strategic decisions conserve energy for what truly matters, ensuring you can sustain your efforts over time.
3️⃣ Creates Balance: Consistency doesn’t mean rigidity—it’s about finding what works for you and sticking to it.

Your Action Step:
Identify one area in your life where consistency could make a difference—whether it’s exercise, work habits, or personal goals—and commit to showing up daily or weekly. Then, look for small adjustments that can make your routine more efficient without compromising its impact.
